The lessee (client/group leader) of bicycles or equipment from FASSA RENT, whose signature appears on this contract, takes delivery of the bicycle and/or other equipment under the terms and conditions stated in this contract, which the lessee accepts and undertakes to comply with.
1. The client assumes full responsibility for the rented equipment.
2. The bicycle and/or equipment must be returned in compliance with the times agreed upon and/or posted at the rental point, at the same place where it was rented. If the client does not respect the return times as agreed in the rental contract, a penalty of €10 will be applied if the delay is less than 30 minutes, or an amount equivalent to a half-day rental if the delay exceeds the next 30 minutes, to be paid upon return of the vehicle (see price list).
3. Before taking possession of the bicycle and/or equipment, the lessee must make payment according to the rates in effect at the time of rental.
4. By taking delivery of the vehicle, the client acknowledges that the equipment is in good and efficient condition and declares to have checked it beforehand; upon its return, it will be checked again and in case of breakages, the client must pay for the damages caused.
5. The bicycle and/or equipment are to be used exclusively as a means of transport and must be treated with care, common sense, and diligence. The client must use the vehicle in such a way as to avoid damage, both to it and to its accessories.
6. The client must comply with the rules of the road code, rules which they declare to know. The Lessor declines all responsibility in case of improper use of the vehicle and failure to comply with the rules of the road code.
7. The use of the bicycle and/or equipment presupposes the physical fitness and technical expertise of the person intending to use it. Therefore, by renting the bicycle and/or equipment, the client declares to have adequate ability and appropriate competence without any reservation.
8. Any event, damage, or injury resulting from the circulation and use of the bicycle and/or equipment is attributable solely to the user/driver. The client is therefore responsible for damages caused during the use of the vehicle to themselves, to third parties, to property, to the bicycle and/or equipment. No form of compensation may be requested from the Lessor.
9. In the event of damage and/or breakages caused to the rented vehicle, the client must pay for the damages caused, which will be quantified by the lessor at the time of return of the vehicle.
10. In case of total breakage or theft, the material in question will be charged to the lessee according to market value.
11. Replacement is possible during the duration of the contract with materials of different categories and values, with the difference charged in case of a higher category, but without reimbursement in case of a lower category.
12. The use of the bicycle is reserved for persons aged 18 or older unless the minor is accompanied by an adult who assumes responsibility.
13. The lessor may refuse to rent the bicycle or accessories to a person deemed unable to operate it (in accordance with articles 186 and 187 of the Highway Code) or for other reasons and in any case at the sole discretion of the lessor.
14. The rental contract does not provide for the recovery of the vehicle or people. If such a service is requested, the cost is 30 euros per person/vehicle if the recovery takes place in Val di Fassa, otherwise a cost of €2.00 per km travelled is calculated for both the outward and return journeys. The vehicle will be replaced exclusively at the FASSA RENT rental point, and the client undertakes to return the vehicle and/or equipment at the FASSA RENT point on strada de Meida 106 - San Giovanni di Fassa where the rental contract was signed.
15. Early termination of the rental contract is possible by returning the material without any claim for reimbursement by the lessee.
16. Refunds are made exclusively for illness and/or injury upon presentation of a valid medical certificate.
17. The signing of the rental contract by the client presupposes knowledge and unconditional acceptance of these regulations, the referenced legal provisions, the rates, and the opening and closing times of the rental service.

The customer assumes full responsibility for the rental material.
The customer is fully liable for theft or damage.
REGLEMENT UND VERLEIHBEDINGUNGEN
Der Mieter (customer/group leader) of the rental equipment from FASSA RENT fully agrees to the terms and conditions of the contract.
1. The customer assumes full responsibility for the rental equipment.
2. The rental equipment must be returned to the rental location within the posted opening hours. If the customer does not comply with the return date agreed in the rental contract, a fee of €10 is due for a delay of less than 30 minutes; if the delay exceeds 30 minutes, half the daily rental fee will be charged.
3. The rental price is paid before the rental equipment is handed over.
4. By accepting the rental equipment, the customer confirms its flawless and functional condition and declares to have checked it beforehand; upon return, the customer is liable for any possible damages.
5. The rental equipment is to be used exclusively as a means of transport and handled with care. The customer must use the equipment in such a way that no damage occurs.
6. The customer declares to know and comply with the rules of the road traffic regulations. The lessor declines all responsibility in case of improper use of the rental equipment and non-compliance with the road traffic regulations.
7. The customer declares to handle the rental equipment properly upon renting it.
8. The customer is liable for all material or personal damages (including to third parties) arising from the use of the rental equipment. No compensation can be claimed from the lessor.
9. In the event of damage to the rental equipment, the customer is fully liable. The amount will be determined by the lessor upon return of the rental equipment.
10. In case of total loss or theft, the relevant equipment will be charged to the renter at market value.
11. The exchange of the rental object during the contract period for equivalent items or items of higher categories is possible at any time for an additional charge. However, a refund is not possible when exchanging for items of lower-priced categories.
12. The use of bicycles by minors is only permitted when accompanied by an adult who assumes responsibility.
13. The lessor may refuse to rent the equipment to a person deemed unfit to drive (according to Articles 186 and 187 of the road traffic regulations) or for other reasons and in any case at the sole discretion of the lessor.
14. The rental contract does not provide for the collection of the rental equipment or persons. If this service is requested, the cost is €30.00 per person/vehicle if it takes place in the Fassa Valley, otherwise €2.00 per kilometer driven round trip will be charged. The rental equipment will only be replaced at the FASSA RENT store, the customer undertakes to return the rental equipment to FASSA RENT-Strada de Meida 106 - San Giovanni di Fassa, where the rental contract was signed.
15. Early termination of the rental contract is possible by returning the equipment without any refund claims by the renter.
16. Refunds are only made in case of illness and/or injury upon presentation of a valid medical certificate.
17. The conclusion of the rental contract by the customer implies knowledge and unconditional acceptance of these regulations, the aforementioned laws, the rates, and the opening hours of the rental service.
